Distillery opens tasting room, Holocaust historian cooking class and more
A distillery that provides all of its spirits on-site is now inviting guests in to sample them.
BBS Distilleries LLC opened its tasting home on June 1, functioning out of a 3,000-square-foot, 40-seat place at 27600 Schoolcraft Highway in Livonia.
The business operated out of a space at Merriman and Schoolcraft roads to create and bottle the spirits to offer to Michigan liquor suppliers. It moved to its new location in January, which gave it home to open up the tasting area, co-owner Katie Nelson explained.
Distillery offers 15 diverse sorts of its Leaky Even now moonshine. The menu also attributes a Swartzburgh cider, produced with cinna-pear and dwelling cider. A pineapple-colada includes Distillery’s pineapple slush and Hawaiian blue vodka, served in a true pineapple and garnished with other fruits. Cooter’s Punch characteristics the firm’s pineapple moonshine, lemon-lime juice, and cherry juice.
