Grocery Prices, Over Regulation and Quality of Food Discussed
Folks are really concerned about the quality of our food and the price increases. It costs a lot to feed a family in the United States these days and it is getting tougher and tougher to feed them properly with quality food on a Middle Class budget.
Perhaps you have noticed grocery prices creep up. And of course I too have seen the trend in Grocery Costs, and of course worry about all the processed foods, as they do provide food, but seem to also not be as good for the bio-system. Just look at Americans, over weight, serious issues.
Of course I would like to point out it is a choice to buy cheaper food and it takes more work, control and cost to eat well. I eat good food and it is not easy and the cost is significantly higher; fruit, nuts, vegetables, etc. and it is a choice.
Myself, I come from an extended farm family myself and yes I “get it” and see the different sides of all the issues. The over regulation on family farms, organic growers and shippers is also causing prices to increase throughout the food chain and this gets passed onto the consumer; you and I.
