“We do promote food to the teachers on Fridays,” Rengstorf said. “We have to elevate all of our have revenue. Our budget just will come through donations and what we can raise by fundraising.”
That hasn’t stopped the class from thriving. Rengstorf introduced a nonprofit, Roosevelt Culinary Arts, to increase those funds for the course and include lessons on sustainability.
“We have an urban farming system as effectively in this article, so we perform as a department to aid the young children have an understanding of the total food stuff process,” he claimed. “So we compost to the city farm and they give ingredients to us.”
